Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Pacific Breeze Events' services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and event planning services provided by Pacific Breeze Events, located in Canada.
If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting.
2. Service Description
Pacific Breeze Events provides comprehensive party planning and event management services throughout Canada. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Wedding planning and coordination
- Corporate event management
- Birthday party planning
- Anniversary celebrations
- Venue selection and booking
- Vendor coordination and management
- Event design and decoration
- Timeline creation and day-of coordination
3. Booking and Payment Terms
Important Payment Information
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your event date. Final payment is due 30 days before the event date.
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing with a signed contract
- Payment schedules will be outlined in individual service agreements
- Late payments may result in service suspension or event cancellation
- Additional services requested during planning may incur extra charges
- Travel expenses for events outside our primary service areas will be charged separately
- All prices are subject to applicable taxes
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel or modify your event. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting our business interests:
- 120+ days before event: 75% refund of payments made (excluding deposit)
- 60-119 days before event: 50% refund of payments made (excluding deposit)
- 30-59 days before event: 25% refund of payments made (excluding deposit)
- Less than 30 days before event: No refund available
- Force majeure events will be handled on a case-by-case basis
- Date changes may be accommodated subject to availability and additional fees
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the success of your event, clients agree to the following responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and complete information about event requirements
- Respond promptly to requests for decisions and approvals
- Make payments according to agreed schedules
- Obtain necessary permits or licenses for the event venue
- Inform us of any changes to guest count or requirements in a timely manner
- Respect vendor policies and venue regulations
- Provide safe and appropriate access to event venues
6. Liability and Insurance
Pacific Breeze Events maintains comprehensive liability insurance and takes every precaution to ensure successful events. However, our liability is limited as follows:
- We are not responsible for vendor performance beyond our reasonable control
- Weather-related complications are considered force majeure events
- Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for our services
- Clients are encouraged to obtain their own event insurance
- We are not liable for personal injury or property damage at events
- Vendor contracts and warranties are between clients and individual vendors
7. Intellectual Property and Privacy
We respect your privacy and protect your personal information according to Canadian privacy laws. Additionally:
- We may photograph events for marketing purposes unless explicitly prohibited
- Client information is kept confidential and not shared with third parties
- Event concepts and designs created by us remain our intellectual property
- Clients grant permission to use event photos in our portfolio and marketing
- Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy
- We use secure systems to protect client information
8. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under this agreement which is due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of such party, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, epidemics, government regulations, or public health emergencies.
In such cases, we will work with clients to reschedule events when possible or provide appropriate refunds based on services already rendered and costs incurred.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the respective provinces where services are provided. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Canadian arbitration rules.
